Lille welcomes the Paris 2024 Olympic Flame
Get ready to experience an exceptional moment! The Olympic flame, a universal symbol of the sporting spirit, will be travelling across France for more than two months from 8 May 2024.
During its journey, it will pass through more than 400 towns and cities. And this year, the Olympic Flame will be passing through Nord-pas-de-Calais!
The Olympic Flame will be lit in Olympia, Greece, and will then travel to the host city of the Games.
It will cross France for 68 days over more than 10,000 km, passing through 64 territories, including Lille, on 2 July 2024, on its way from Reims.
After travelling through part of France, the Olympic Flame will pass through the Nord-pas-de-Calais region, making a symbolic stop in the city of Lille on 2 July 2024.
The torch's route through Nord-Pas-de-Calais will start in Dunkirk and continue through the towns of :
